Attendance Dashboard
Working in partnership with Cogent Consulting Group, I can now offer the attendance dashboard that helped turn around chronic absenteeism in a major US city.
Get regular reports of specific students who are At Risk, or are moving into Moderately Chronic Absent, or more severe. All the necessary data from your SIS can be used to help notify and build intervention plans with parents/guardians, deans/counselors, and homeroom teachers.
With regular weekly or bi-weekly data updates, district and school administrators can have a better understanding of the absentee rates not only for schools, but also within certain demographics, to help track intervention methods to get and keep students in school. There is the ability to compare across grade levels and schools to the district averages.
This is a must have if you are finding that your district’s students are habitually not coming to school!
For district leaders, you can start by comparing absenteeism across regions or networks of schools. You can mix and match demographic data through 10 different options to identify regional and district trends.
Within a district, you can view absenteeism for specific schools and grade levels within the school, looking at students who have Satisfactory attendance rates, up through At Risk and Moderate absence rates, to Chronic absenteeism. There are also 10 different demographic filters to narrow down specific groups of students and identify possible trends within populations.
School administrators can get a list of students who are At Risk, Moderate Risk or Chronically Absent students to follow up with parents and help create intervention plans.
District and school leaders can compare different demographics absentee rates to each other, across schools and to the district.
Compare each grade level's absentee rates to each other and to the district. This allows you to see if you intervention methods are effective or if you need to make further adjustments.
